With immediate effect we are looking for an experienced Compensation Consultant to support our Global Human Resources / Total Rewards team in Frankfurt, working closely with the appointed Remuneration Officer. The role will report into the Head of EMEA Regulatory Compensation in Edinburgh with a matrix dotted reporting line into the Head of HR Germany in Frankfurt.

What you will be responsible for
As Compensation Consultant you will
Provide comprehensive support on all aspects of EU and regional remuneration regulation
Review and provide support on the impact of evolving regulatory requirements (e.g. EBA's guidelines on remuneration under CRD V, IFD)
Interpret, analyze, develop, implement, execute, and document all regulatory remuneration requirements for several legal entities
Support Identified Staff processes by managing inputs, preparing technical materials for senior stakeholders and communications for impacted individuals
Provide support to the Remuneration Committee including ownership of agendas, scheduling meetings, coordinating inputs and preparation/review of materials in close cooperation with the appointed Remuneration Officer
Focus on Risk Excellence and support the proactive and effective management of remuneration risk by the first line of defense
Ensure timely update and approval of relevant remuneration policy documents, regulatory reporting and remuneration disclosures; look to achieve consistencies and standardize where possible
Lead or support ad-hoc projects and provide support to wider EMEA Total Rewards team as required
Be a primary point of contact for external and regulatory audit of remuneration for the covered legal entities; responsible for Global Human Resources input into the regular audit routine
Focus on client service delivery and relationship management
Be able to put forward ideas and suggestions to improve policies, processes and procedures

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Successfully completed Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or comparable education
Track record in Total Rewards / Compensation within a fast-paced, international, financial services or consultancy organization ideally
Knowledge of EU banking and asset management remuneration regulation
Expertise in applying the German Remuneration Code and German Banking Act
Understanding of co-determination (works council) and German corporate and supervisory law
Experience with stakeholder management
Proficient knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Fluency in German and English
